9 elderly RVM nuns die of Covid-19 in QC convent

Nine elderly nuns from the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM) convent in Quezon City have died due to Covid-19, with ages ranging from 79 to 98 years and pre-existing health conditions.

As of Wednesday, 62 infected nuns were being monitored for their condition; two are fully recovered, 38 have mild/moderate symptoms, and 13 are in severe condition.

Additionally, out of the 52 lay personnel who tested positive last week, 50 are nearing full recovery.
