8,000 workers displaced in first days of NCR Plus ECQ

At least 8,000 workers were displaced during the first three days of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces.

As of March 31, the total number of displaced workers since the start of the pandemic reached 118,210.

DOLE expects this figure to increase as the ECQ has been extended until April 11.
