DFA: OFWs with coronavirus now 2,360

As of Saturday, May 16, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported that overseas Filipinos infected with coronavirus have reached 2,360.

There were 35 new recoveries and five new deaths among OFWs, bringing total recoveries to 824 and fatalities to 274.

The Asia Pacific region has the most recoveries (310) and lowest mortality rate (two), while Europe has the highest number of cases (690).

Filipinos infected with coronavirus are spread across 46 countries, with the Americas having the highest death toll at 148.
