Two new Covid-19 cases in Baguio-Benguet, total infections reach 118

As of Thursday, July 2, two new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were recorded in Baguio City and Benguet, bringing the total number of infections in the region to 118.

Baguio reported one new case, a 29-year-old asymptomatic female social worker who tested positive on June 30 as part of risk-based testing by the city government.

Benguet recorded one new case involving a 34-year-old male and six recoveries were noted in Benguet, reducing active cases to eight with 30 recoveries total.

On June 30, three additional cases were reported across the Cordillera Administrative Region, including two from Apayao and one from Benguet, increasing the total number of cases to 116.
