Filipino coronavirus cases abroad rise to 401

As of Wednesday, April 1, the total number of Filipinos infected with coronavirus abroad increased to 401.

The Department of Foreign Affairs reported 33 new cases and four additional deaths in Europe.

Cases are spread across 32 countries, primarily in Asia Pacific (13 new cases) and Europe (13 new cases), followed by the Middle East (4 new cases) and Americas (3 new cases).

Of the total cases, 270 Filipinos are still receiving treatment while 118 have recovered.

The death toll now stands at 13, with one each in France and India, nine more in Europe, and one each in the Middle East and Americas.
