DILG validates 4M beneficiaries for SAP second tranche

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has validated almost four million beneficiaries for the second tranche of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

Interior Secretary Eduardo Año stated that these names have been sent to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for distribution.

The government plans to use ATM debit cards, GCash, and PayMaya for faster disbursement.

Año assured that the second tranche will be distributed this month, with most local government units nearly completing the first tranche's distribution.
