4 NPA suspects killed in Bukidnon encounter

Four suspected members of the New People's Army were killed in an encounter with government troops on Wednesday in Bukidnon province.

The clash occurred during focused military operations at the Saldab Complex based on reports of rebel presence.

Government forces, including various infantry and special forces battalions, conducted the operation and recovered a high-powered firearm along with other war materials.

The bodies of three men and one woman were taken to funeral homes for proper services.

Local government units are coordinating with authorities to assist the families of the deceased rebels.

Brigadier General Seigfred Tubalado stated that this operation is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle remaining armed groups in Northern Mindanao.
