35 new BARMM members sworn in at Malacañang

Newly appointed members of the Bangsamoro Parliament were sworn into office at a ceremony held Monday night at Heroes Hall in Malacañang Palace.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., along with government officials and BARMM leaders, presided over the oath-taking event for the 35 new appointees.

Interim Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua thanked President Marcos for his administration's continued cooperation in the development of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), emphasizing the importance of implementing the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro and the Bangsamoro Organic Law.

Macacua also expressed gratitude to former interim Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim for his leadership over the past six years, pledging to continue and build upon his legacy.

Special Assistant to the President Anton Lagdameo Jr. and Secretary Carlito Galvez of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity were present to underscore the commitment to maintaining peace and open communication between national and Bangsamoro governments.
