30 dead, 13 confirmed from floods and typhoons Crising, Dante, Emong

The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) reported Saturday that the death toll from flooding and tropical cyclones Crising, Dante, and Emong has risen to 30.

Of these fatalities, 13 have been confirmed, including nine in the National Capital Region (NCR) and six in Western Visayas, with seven people still missing and ten injured.

Over 5.9 million individuals were affected across 6,401 barangays, with nearly 190,000 families currently seeking refuge in evacuation centers.

Flooded areas remain widespread in Regions III, I, NCR, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Western Visayas, while Kennon Road in Benguet remains closed due to landslides.

Infrastructure damage has reached P6.8 billion, with agricultural losses topping P1.1 billion, affecting 19,662 farmers and fisherfolk.
