Bataan logs seven new COVID-19 cases, five are OFWs

Bataan reported seven new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the total to 247 with 69 active cases.

Five of the new cases are OFWs from Limay and Orion; two others are locals from Mariveles.

The number of recoveries remained at 168 while deaths stayed at ten.

On Thursday, Bataan logged six new cases, increasing total infections to 240 with 62 active cases.

Four new cases were from Mariveles and two from Balanga and Pilar; eight patients recovered on Wednesday.

Two OFWs from Bagac town recovered from the virus on Tuesday, raising recoveries to 160 and reducing active cases to 63.
