DFA: 109 new COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad

As of Tuesday, March 2, the Department of Foreign Affairs reported 109 new cases of COVID-19 among Filipinos overseas, bringing the total to 15,023.

Total recoveries increased to 9,455 with 55 more Filipinos recovering from the illness, while the death toll rose to 1,021 with three additional fatalities.

The Middle East/Africa region continues to have the highest number of cases among overseas Filipinos at 8,131, followed by Europe with 3,087 infections and Asia Pacific with 2,930 cases.
