DILG: Ten mayors face charges for Rolly absence

Ten mayors may face administrative charges for allegedly being absent during Super Typhoon Rolly's impact.

DILG Secretary Eduardo Año stated that the department will issue 'show cause orders' to these mayors, who are from various regions including Northern Luzon, MIMAROPA, Bicol, and Visayas.

The DILG is investigating whether the mayors violated the memorandum circular requiring 100% presence of local chief executives before, during, and after typhoons.
