Yedda Romualdez to return to House of Representatives as Tingog party-list nominee

Yedda Romualdez will return to the House of Representatives as the third nominee for the Tingog party-list, replacing Marie Josephine Calatrava.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) confirmed the resignation of the third, fourth, and fifth nominees of Tingog Sinirangan, allowing Romualdez, originally the sixth nominee, to take a seat.

Marie Josephine Diana Calatrava resigned due to personal circumstances, while nominees Alexis Yu and Paul Muncada resigned after being elected to new internal positions within Tingog.

Romualdez will join her husband, Speaker Martin Romualdez, and their son, Andrew Julian, in the 20th Congress.

Tingog party-list secured three seats in the May elections with 1,822,708 votes.
