Winwyn Marquez named first runner-up in Miss Universe Philippines 2025

Winwyn Marquez concluded her pageant journey by competing in Miss Universe Philippines 2025, where she was crowned first runner-up.

She previously competed in various pageants, including Binibining Pilipinas in 2015, Miss World Philippines in 2017, and won Reina Hispanoamericana in 2017.

Marquez considers her daughter Luna, born in April 2022, a miracle, especially after being told that bearing a child might be difficult due to endometrioma.

Becoming a mother shifted her perspective, making family her primary focus over pageantry.

She celebrated her daughter's birthday on April 30, which coincided with the MUPH's National Costume show, the MUPH finals night on May 2, and her own birthday on May 4.

Following her MUPH stint, Marquez plans to catch up on sleep and spend quality time with her family, stating that she has completed her job in pageantry.

She announced that the MUPH was her last pageant, considering her participation and the presence of her family and daughter at the event as a victory in itself.
