Winwyn Marquez finishes first runner-up in Miss Universe PH 2025, calls it quits

Winwyn Marquez has declared that the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant was her final competition in the pageant circuit, where she secured the first runner-up position.

Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province was crowned the winner.

Despite not winning the top title, Marquez expressed deep satisfaction with her achievement, highlighting the significance of a mother reaching this level.

Marquez emphasized that becoming a mother does not mean dreams have to stop, but can be the beginning of something new and meaningful.

She also thanked her cousin, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, for her support, including serving as creative director for some of Marquez's shoots.

Marquez also expressed gratitude to her family, including her partner and daughter Luna, for being her strength and reason throughout her journey.
