Victorias Milling Company to vaccinate over 2,000 workers

Victorias Milling Company, Inc. (VMC) is set to vaccinate over 2,000 employees and service providers against COVID-19 in the coming months.

VMC President Minnie Chua stated that the company has already submitted the list of employees who agreed to be vaccinated, encompassing both direct employees and outsourced workers.

Chua emphasized that employee safety and well-being are the company's top priorities, and the vaccination program aims to protect workers and their families from severe illness.

The vaccination initiative is also expected to help restore normalcy in VMC's operations and ensure continued service to their planters.

Chua recalled that the company has experienced employees contracting the virus, with some fortunately recovering and others losing family members, highlighting the pandemic's impact.

She acknowledged that despite established restrictions and protocols, employees and clients cooperated, which helped the company overcome challenges, though initial hesitation towards mass vaccination was present among nearly half of the workforce.
