Vice Ganda wins FAMAS Best Actor for 'And the Breadwinner Is...'

Vice Ganda achieved a historic first by winning the FAMAS Best Actor award for his role in 'And the Breadwinner Is...', sharing the recognition with Arjo Atayde for 'Topakk'.

He is the first actor to win a FAMAS award while dressed in a gown and dedicated his victory to the queer community, fellow breadwinners, and the film's team.

Vice Ganda described the win as an "overwhelming, immeasurable joy" and a "biggest clapback", thanking God for the timely recognition.

This marks another acting achievement for Vice Ganda, following his Box Office Hero award at the Eddys 2025.

He recalled a previous FAMAS award win where his mother accepted the trophy on his behalf.

Following the FAMAS win, Vice Ganda stated on 'It's Showtime' that the trophy served as a "biggest clapback" to the recent bashing he received.
