FAMAS Awards: Alipato at Muog best picture, Vice Ganda and Arjo Atayde tie for best actor

The 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards were held at the Manila Hotel, celebrating outstanding achievements in Philippine cinema.

"Alipato at Muog" was awarded Best Picture and its director JL Burgos received the Best Director award.

Vice Ganda for "And the Breadwinner Is..." and Arjo Atayde for "Topakk" shared the Best Actor award.

Marian Rivera won Best Actress for her role in "Balota", a performance she also received recognition for at Cinemalaya 2024.

Nadine Lustre received Best Supporting Actress for "Uninvited", while Jeric Raval won Best Supporting Actor for "Mamay".

"Mamay" also dominated in technical categories, winning Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Musical Score.

Kathryn Bernardo was honored with the Bida sa Takilya Award, and Vilma Santos received the FAMAS Circle of Excellence Award.
