Typhoon Uwan prompts TCWS No. 2 in 13 Luzon areas

Typhoon Uwan maintained its strength and moved northwestward over the West Philippine Sea, prompting PAGASA to raise Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 in 13 areas across Luzon.

These areas include Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, the northwestern portion of Isabela, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, the northern and central portions of Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, the northern and central portions of La Union, and the northwestern portion of Pangasinan.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 remains in effect for the rest of Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, the rest of Benguet, the rest of La Union, the rest of Pangasinan, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon including Polillo Islands, the northern and central portions of Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands, the northern and central portions of Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, and the northwestern portion of Camarines Sur.
