Typhoon Ulysses prompts TCWS No. 3 in 12 areas

Tropical Storm Ulysses has intensified to a typhoon and is expected to impact several regions in the Philippines, prompting the raising of TCWS No. 3. The areas under TCWS No. 3 now include 12 areas across various regions, including Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Quezon, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur. Ulysses is anticipated to intensify further within the next 12 to 24 hours, increasing the risk of severe weather conditions. Provinces such as Quezon, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, and Albay in Bicol have already experienced significant damage from Typhoon Rolly. Residents in Quezon, still without electricity from Rolly's impact, are now facing the threat of another powerful cyclone.
