Typhoon Quinta causes widespread floods, landslides, and evacuations in Luzon

Typhoon Quinta brought heavy rains, causing floods and landslides across Luzon, leading to numerous evacuations.

In Camarines Sur, over 16,000 families were moved to evacuation centers due to hazard-prone conditions, with some indigenous communities descending mountains fearing landslides.

Roads in Buhi, Camarines Sur, were blocked by fallen trees, electric wires, and other debris, while power posts were also reported to have tilted.

Several towns in Camarines Sur lost electricity.

In Albay, flash floods were experienced in Legazpi City, submerging houses and stranding vehicles, while some mall employees were temporarily stuck due to strong winds.

In Isabela, Negros Occidental, residents were stranded for three hours because of an overflowing river with a strong current.
