TS Crising nears Cagayan, 10 areas under Signal No. 2

Tropical Storm Crising continues to move closer to mainland Cagayan, with ten areas remaining under Wind Signal No. 2.

These provinces, including Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, and Apayao, are expected to experience gale-force winds of 62 to 88 kph over the next 24 hours.

Additional areas under Signal No. 2 now include Kalinga, specific portions of Abra and Mountain Province, specific portions of Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, and specific portions of Ilocos Sur.

Ten other areas are under Wind Signal No. 1, facing potential strong winds of 39 to 61 kph over the next 36 hours.

These areas under Signal No. 1 include Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, the rest of Mountain Province and Ifugao, the rest of Abra, Benguet, the rest of Ilocos Sur, La Union, specific portions of Pangasinan, specific portions of Aurora, and specific portions of Nueva Ecija.
