PAGASA has raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 over several areas in Luzon, including Batanes, Cagayan (including Babuyan Islands), Isabela, Quirino, portions of Nueva Vizcaya and Aurora, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, portions of Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, portions of La Union, Polillo Islands, Camarines Norte, portions of Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes.

It is expected to bring significant rainfall across Luzon and potentially the Visayas and Zamboanga, with torrential rains anticipated over several areas, increasing the risk of widespread flooding and landslides.

PAGASA forecasts Crising to intensify into a tropical storm by Thursday and potentially a severe tropical storm by Friday evening before exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Sunday morning.
