Tulfo will be responsible for identifying essential resources to aid the affected communities and ensure a coordinated and efficient response to relief and recovery needs.

He is scheduled to meet with officials in General Santos City and Sarangani on Sunday.

As of writing, seven people have died from the earthquake.
