Tropical Storm Ramil makes 4 landfalls before leaving PAR

Tropical Storm Ramil made landfall in Luzon four times before emerging over the West Philippine Sea on Sunday afternoon, October 19, 2025.

The storm, packing maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h and gustiness of up to 80 km/h, was located 85 kilometers west northwest of Iba, Zambales at 4 p.m.

It accelerated westward at 35 km/h, and is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Monday morning, October 20.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 was raised over Metro Manila, Zambales, and large portions of Pangasinan and La Union.

Despite moving away from land, significant rainfall may persist in more than two dozen provinces, posing risks of floods and landslides.
