TS Ramil makes final landfall in Bataan, 10 provinces to experience rain

Tropical Storm Ramil made its fourth and final landfall in Bataan on Sunday afternoon, October 19.

As of Sunday night, the storm was spotted 175 kilometers west of Dagupan City, Pangasinan, moving west northwest at 10 km/h.

Ramil maintains maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h with gustiness up to 80 km/h.

Moderate to heavy rain is expected in 10 provinces: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Cavite, and Batangas.

Signal No. 2 has been lifted, with Signal No. 1 remaining in effect over several areas in Luzon.

There is a minimal to moderate risk of storm surges with peak heights of 1 to 2 meters in Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan within 24 hours.

PAGASA expects Ramil to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Monday morning.
