Ulysses is expected to maintain its direction until Tuesday afternoon, after which it will turn west towards the Bicol-Quezon area.

The winds and rainfall associated with the tropical cyclone may begin to affect portions of Eastern Visayas and Bicol region by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Flooding, rain-induced landslides, and sediment-laden streamflows may occur during heavy or prolonged rainfall.
