TNT captures 2024-25 PBA Commissioner's Cup title in Game 7

The TNT Tropang GIGA have clinched the 2024-25 PBA Commissioner's Cup title by defeating Barangay Ginebra in a dramatic Game 7.

TNT secured the championship with an 87-83 overtime victory in front of a crowd of 21,274 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Barangay Ginebra's import Justin Brownlee forced overtime with a three-pointer with 21 seconds left in regulation, tying the game at 79-79.

TNT then went on a 6-0 run in overtime, highlighted by a Glenn Khobuntin triple, to take an 85-79 lead.

Calvin Oftana sealed the win for TNT in the dying moments of the game after Justin Brownlee missed a potential game-tying three-pointer.

This victory marks TNT's 11th overall PBA title.

TNT is in a position for a possible Grand Slam after also winning the first two conferences of the season.

This is the first time Justin Brownlee has lost a PBA Game 7.
