TNT import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson wins Best Import anew

TNT import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has been named Best Import of the Conference in the PBA Governors' Cup for the second consecutive time, defeating Barangay Ginebra's Justin Brownlee with 1,221 points to Brownlee's 947.

Hollis-Jefferson played a pivotal role in leading the defending champion TNT Tropang Giga to the finals, securing the best record in the elimination round with an 8-2 win-loss card.

Throughout the semifinals, Hollis-Jefferson dominated across all five statistical categories, averaging 28.0 points, 12.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 2.9 steals, and 1.9 blocks.

Despite Hollis-Jefferson's award, Justin Brownlee spoiled his coronation by delivering a strong performance in Game 4 of the finals, helping Barangay Ginebra tie the series at 2-2 with a 106-92 victory.

Brownlee acknowledged Hollis-Jefferson's win, stating, "That's a talented dude. He's been playing incredible the whole conference. It's well-deserved."

However, Hollis-Jefferson expressed that winning Game 4 of the finals was more important to him than receiving the Best Import award, as TNT fell short in that crucial game.
