Barangay Ginebra clinches Game 3 win in PBA Finals vs TNT

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel secured their first win in the PBA Governors' Cup Finals, defeating TNT Tropang Giga 85-73 in Game 3 to narrow the best-of-seven series deficit to 2-1.

Scottie Thompson was named best player of the game, contributing 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, and a steal.

Import Justin Brownlee led Ginebra with 18 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and four blocks, while Maverick Ahanmisi added 16 points and eight rebounds.

Ginebra stifled TNT defensively in the fourth quarter, holding the Tropang Giga to only 14 points en route to victory.

Coach Tim Cone attributed the win partly to starting LA Tenorio to better manage the team's rotation.

Ginebra will seek to equalize the series at 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, also at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Tropang Giga with 24 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, and four steals.
