Three weather systems to bring rains across PH

Three weather systems, namely the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the Northeast Monsoon, and the easterlies, are expected to bring cloudy skies and scattered rains across various parts of the Philippines on Monday.

The ITCZ will affect Palawan and Mindanao, causing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in these areas.

Northern Luzon, specifically Cagayan and Isabela, will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shearline (a product of the Northeast Monsoon).

Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon are also forecast to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, also influenced by the easterlies.

Meanwhile, the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains because of the Northeast Monsoon.

PAGASA has also reported that no low-pressure areas are currently being monitored for potential tropical cyclone development.
