ITCZ, Amihan to bring scattered rains across Philippines Sunday

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) are expected to bring scattered rains across various parts of the Philippines on Sunday.

Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ, with moderate to at times heavy rains possibly resulting in flash floods or landslides.

The Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley can expect cloudy skies with rains due to the amihan, also facing the possibility of flash floods or landslides from moderate to heavy rainfall.

The Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the monsoon.

The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms to Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to the rest of Central Luzon, with risks of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, with flash floods or landslides possible during severe thunderstorms.
