P4.1M worth of shabu seized in Pampanga, Tarlac busts; Korean carnapper nabbed

A suspected drug pusher was apprehended in Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, with approximately P1.7 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation.

Authorities seized around 255 grams of suspected shabu, a mobile phone, and the suspect's motorcycle.

In a separate incident in Bamban, Tarlac, a 38-year-old man classified as a high-value individual was arrested for alleged possession of P340,000 worth of shabu and a firearm loaded with live bullets.

During the search, lawmen allegedly found a caliber .45 pistol, two magazines, and several rounds of live bullets, along with approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu.

The suspect is facing charges for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In nearby Angeles City, a Korean national wanted for carnapping was arrested on Sunday.

An arrest warrant was issued against the foreigner for violating the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016, with a recommended bail of P300,000.
