SWS: 8% unwilling to get vaxxed in Dec 2021

A December 2021 Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey indicates that only 8 percent of adult Filipinos were unwilling to be vaccinated against COVID-19, a significant decrease from 18 percent in September 2021.

The percentage of adults who were uncertain about vaccination also decreased to 6 percent in December 2021, down from 19 percent in September 2021.

Of the 8 percent unwilling to get vaccinated, 7 percent said they would "surely not" and 1 percent said they would "probably not."

Among those unvaccinated at the time of the survey, 35 percent expressed willingness to be vaccinated, with 33 percent saying they would "surely" and 3 percent "probably."

The survey also revealed that at least 50 percent of Filipino adults had received at least one vaccine dose.

This 50 percent includes 38 percent who received two doses and 13 percent who received one dose.
