Romualdez rallies House for Alyansa senatorial bets

House Speaker Martin Romualdez is intensifying his campaign efforts for the administration-backed Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial slate with less than two weeks remaining before the May 12 polls.

Romualdez convened a meeting with over 100 congressmen on Thursday, May 1, at the Imelda Hall, Aguado Residence in Malacañang to advocate for a unified campaign strategy in support of the 11 Alyansa candidates.

During the luncheon meeting, Romualdez urged his colleagues to "put extra effort" and "go that extra mile" for the Alyansa candidates, emphasizing the importance of a "straight Alyansa" vote.

He stressed that the Alyansa bets in the Senate, along with their counterparts in the House of Representatives, are chosen partners of the President who will work towards achieving peace, stability, and prosperity for the nation.

The Speaker implored the congressmen to "dig deep," "exert all effort," and "leave no stone unturned" in their campaign endeavors for the senatorial slate.
