SHFC approves P100M for 400 families' housing projects

More than 400 families in Isabela, Cagayan, and Zamboanga City will soon have access to secure housing through new projects approved by the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC).

The approvals were granted on September 25 for loan applications from the Plaridel Village CMP Homeowners' Association, Inc. in Santiago, Isabela; Ibay's CMP HOAI in Solana, Cagayan; and Maria Navarro HOAI in Zamboanga City.

SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa stated that the agency is committed to implementing 34 Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP) projects to assist more Filipino families in obtaining affordable and secure housing.

These initiatives align with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s housing agenda and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development's Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

The ECMP projects offer housing opportunities for families in both formal and informal sectors, demonstrating SHFC's dedication to people-centered shelter solutions.
