Cloudy skies and rains expected nationwide due to monsoon and easterlies

The Philippines will experience cloudy skies and rains on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, due to the Northeast Monsoon and easterlies.

The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora, and scattered light rains to Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon.

Easterlies are expected to cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Quezon, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA has warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains in some areas.

Northern Luzon can expect strong winds and rough coastal waters, while Central Luzon and eastern Southern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
