Shear line, Amihan, and easterlies to bring rains across PH

Several weather systems, including the shear line, the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), and the easterlies, are expected to bring cloudy skies and rain to various parts of the Philippines on Tuesday.

The shear line is specifically impacting the eastern portion of Central Luzon, bringing cloudy conditions and scattered rains with isolated thunderstorms to Aurora and Quezon.

The Northeast Monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon and the remainder of Central Luzon, causing cloudy skies and rains in provinces like Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao.

Meanwhile, the easterlies are influencing the rest of the country, including the Bicol Region, Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Southern Leyte, with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the influence of the easterlies.

PAGASA has reported that there are currently no low-pressure areas being monitored for potential tropical cyclone development.
