Sen Raffy Tulfo, 54 staff take drug tests

Senator Raffy Tulfo and 54 of his staff voluntarily underwent drug testing as a response to the alleged marijuana use by a Senate employee.

Tulfo expressed his commitment to a "zero tolerance" policy, stating that any staff member testing positive would be dismissed, and he would resign if he himself tested positive.

He also announced plans for regular random drug testing within his office to ensure a drug-free environment.

Other senators, including Juan Miguel Zubiri and Loren Legarda, have also initiated drug testing protocols for their respective staff members.

Tulfo deferred to the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges regarding any potential investigation into the reported marijuana use within the Senate premises.
