Savouge Aesthetics outlasts UST-Gameville in four-set thriller

Savouge Aesthetics began the Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference semifinals with a hard-fought four-set victory over UST-Gameville.

Madz Gampong and Giles Torres were instrumental in Savouge's win, with Gampong igniting a 3-0 run to secure match point and Torres sealing the victory with a block.

Mark Calado led Savouge with 20 points from 17 kills and three blocks, while Giles Torres also contributed significantly with six blocks and nine kills.

UST-Gameville, missing key Alas Pilipinas players and their coach due to a training camp in Taiwan, showed grit in their opening semifinals match.

Despite trailing, UST-Gameville mounted a late-game rally to narrow an eight-point deficit, threatening to force a fifth set.

Savouge coach Sydney Calderon expressed happiness with the team's performance, noting that their hard work in training translated effectively into the game.
