Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli meet Red Velvet's Seulgi and Irene at airport

Filipino celebrity couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli had an unexpected encounter with K-pop group Red Velvet members Seulgi and Irene at the Incheon International Airport in South Korea.

The couple was on their way to enter the airport when they had to step aside for Seulgi and Irene, who were accompanied by security personnel and heading to the departure area.

Geronimo and Guidicelli appeared visibly excited upon recognizing the K-pop idols.

Seulgi and Irene were in South Korea before heading to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for their concert tour as a sub-unit.

Matteo Guidicelli playfully posted a screenshot of the encounter on his Instagram Story, suggesting a 'dance off' between his wife Sarah Geronimo and Seulgi, both known for their dancing skills.

The couple also marked their 12th year anniversary as a couple, with Guidicelli sharing a heartfelt message to Geronimo on social media.

In a 2024 interview, Geronimo opened up about their plans of having a child, confessing that while she is excited, she fears she is not 'equipped' enough to be a mother.
