San Beda clinches back-to-back wins to boost Final Four bid

Yukien Andrada and Jacob Cortez spearheaded San Beda's 65-61 victory over College of St. Benilde, bolstering their Final Four aspirations in the NCAA Season 99 men's basketball tournament.

Andrada delivered a career-high 22 points, including four triples, to help San Beda snap a two-game losing streak.

Cortez provided crucial support with 15 points, complemented by four rebounds and eight assists.

The win improved San Beda's record to 9-6, while the loss dropped College of St. Benilde to 10-6.

San Beda then edged Jose Rizal University, 74-69, to improve their record to 10-6, tying CSB for third to fourth places.

Yukien Andrada again led the Red Lions with 18 points, while Jomel Puno and Jacob Cortez added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

The victory over JRU came a few days after their win against CSB, and put JRU's Final Four bid in peril with their 10-7 record.
