Rizalito David endorses Sotto for VP

Vice presidential candidate Rizalito David endorsed his rival Senate President Vicente Sotto III, stating Sotto is the "best man for the job" and the most experienced.

David clarified that he is not withdrawing from the vice presidential race despite his endorsement.

He urged Bishops, priests, and Catholics to support Sotto, citing his decency, gentlemanly conduct, and extensive experience in governance.

David highlighted Sotto's contributions to opposing laws on same-sex marriage, divorce, abortion, and euthanasia, emphasizing his "pro-life" stance.

Sotto expressed gratitude for the endorsement, calling David a "religious and conservative person."

Independent presidential candidate Senator Panfilo Lacson also commented on the endorsement, stating Sotto "must be the best" vice president.

Lacson remarked that David's decision to withdraw from the race is a personal one.
