Rep. Tulfo vows to resign if anti-political dynasty bill passes

ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo declared his support for an anti-political dynasty bill, stating he would resign from his congressional post if it becomes law.

Tulfo also expressed his intention to persuade his relatives in politics, including his sister-in-law and nephew, to resign as well.

He mentioned that he would co-author the bill if a similar measure is filed and emphasized the importance of giving other families a chance to serve.

Previously, Tulfo and former Senator Panfilo Lacson criticized Congress for its inaction on an anti-political dynasty law.

Lacson had pledged to refile the measure, while Tulfo himself had faced a disqualification case related to political dynasty grounds.
