Rep Marcy Teodoro files perjury raps vs 2 cops who accused him of rape

Marikina City Representative Marcy Teodoro has filed perjury complaints against two female police officers who previously accused him of sexual assault and rape.

Teodoro, accompanied by his wife Marikina City Mayor Maan Teodoro and lawyer Alma Mallonga, filed his counter-affidavit at the Department of Justice, presenting 28 witnesses to belie the allegations.

His lawyer, Alma Mallonga, stated that numerous witnesses can attest that Teodoro was never alone with the complainants, making the alleged crimes impossible.

Mallonga also pointed out that the policewomen continued to report for work and interacted normally with colleagues on the same days they claim to have been abused.

Teodoro presented sworn affidavits from 28 witnesses, including colleagues of the complainants, to attest that he was attending public events during the times the alleged incidents occurred.

The two policewomen had filed their complaints of acts of lasciviousness and rape against the congressman before the Department of Justice last month.

The complainants were formerly assigned as close-in security officers to both Representative Teodoro and his wife.
