Rep Baronda under home quarantine after possible COVID-19 exposure

Iloilo City Lone District Representative Julienne Baronda is currently undergoing home quarantine as a proactive measure against the COVID-19.

Baronda decided to self-quarantine despite showing no symptoms, adhering to health advisories for leaders and mothers.

The representative had recent interactions with government officials who were also exposed to individuals potentially infected with the virus.

These interactions included meetings with Department of Budget and Management Secretary Wendel Avisado on March 9 and Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade on March 10.

Secretary Avisado was exposed to Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez, who in turn had contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19.

Secretary Tugade is also on self-quarantine after being exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual.

Representative Baronda also encouraged the public to prioritize their health and follow safety protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.
