Rep Arjo Atayde lauds late Rep Edcel Lagman as mentor

Quezon City Representative Arjo Atayde lauded the late Albay Representative Edcel Lagman as an inspiring mentor for young lawmakers.

Atayde highlighted Lagman's willingness to share his knowledge and experience with newer members of the House of Representatives.

Despite being a neophyte, Atayde found Lagman to be amiable and respectful towards him and other new legislators.

Atayde recalled Lagman's constant smile and encouragement, stating, "You are one of the few who inspires me to do better at what we do."

The Quezon City solon emphasized Lagman's undeniable dedication to serving the Filipino people.

Lagman's significant track record in Congress is considered an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire young legislators.

Atayde concluded by saying Lagman was always present for his colleagues and constituents, and his legacy will live on.

"He may have already left us, but his legacy will always live and continuously inspire all of us," Atayde said.
