Rain or Shine clinches twice-to-beat playoff advantage after beating Magnolia

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters secured a twice-to-beat advantage in the PBA playoffs after defeating the Magnolia Hotshots, 101-91.

The Elasto Painters improved their record to 7-2, tying the San Miguel Beermen atop the ladder.

Guard Gian Mamuyac stated that while they deserve the advantage, their ultimate goal is to win the championship.

Jhonard Clarito led Rain or Shine with 21 points and 11 rebounds, supported by Caelan Tiongson with 14 points and Adrian Nocum with 13 points.

The loss dropped Magnolia to a four-way tie for fourth place with Converge, Meralco, and NLEX at 6-4.

Mark Barroca paced Magnolia with 14 points, five assists, and four rebounds, while Javi Gomez de Liaño tallied 12 points and eight rebounds.
