Quiambao says unsanctioned games approved by La Salle

Reigning UAAP MVP Kevin Quiambao has addressed his participation in "ligang labas" or unsanctioned basketball games, asserting that these do not negatively affect his performance for the De La Salle Green Archers.

Quiambao stated that he plays in these games out of responsibility to his family and his team's backer, Vista Laiya.

He clarified that the reported amounts of P150,000 to P200,000 per game are untrue, emphasizing his loyalty to his backer who has supported him since childhood.

Quiambao also assured that his involvement in these external games has the approval of the La Salle management.
