QC reports 8 recoveries from COVID-19 in city facilities

Quezon City has reported eight recoveries from COVID-19 among patients in its city-run quarantine facilities.

Four of these recovered patients were from the Hope I facility, while the other four were from the Quezon City General Hospital (QCGH).

The recovered patients have shown clinical improvement and have received at least one negative COVID-19 test result.

Despite the recoveries, health officials emphasize the continued need for public adherence to health protocols like hand hygiene, social distancing, and staying at home.

The QC government is expanding its quarantine capacity by adding more HOPE facilities, including Hope III, an 80-bedroom hotel, and Hope IV, a 15-bed facility at QCGH for elderly patients with mild symptoms.

Hope II, a 300-plus bed facility at Quezon City University (QCU), was established through various partnerships.

Hope I is a 49-room alternative medical facility.
